Terrace Rail and Steps
This rail was created for a small garden near Chester that backs onto the canal.The area between the rail and the back fence is to be developed as a patio area to sit by the canal. The rails were to be kept simple with a nautical theme. The sweeping flight of steps was made in slabs of green oak which will darken but need no treatment. The whole structure had to be brought in through an alley way so it was designed to bolt together on site and was fixed in concrete.
